Oliviers and Co sell fresh and gourmet food based with olive oil. Recently left over by l’Occitane company, Oliviers and Co. The company’s products are sold in 5 stores over the US and almost 100 around the world.
About Oliviers and Co e-commerce project
Main goal project was to leave Microsoft business solution from l’Occitane and get on track with something more flexible and easy to modify.
On this technical and design refactoring it quickly bring me to make a decision in favor of Magento Community edition to manage and create the new Oliviers and Co website.
Fun part was on the back end where we made several connectors to achieve an extremely seamless integration with the fulfillment warehouse and POS servers from the stores. Once an order is passed we generate several invoice copy, process through the shipping service, generate a tracking number, notify customer automatically once tracking number is valid and finally close order once the whole buying and shipping process is done. This was for me one of my best and interesting experience in Magento and globally on e-commerce.
